It's certainly fun to watch basketball. But for the players, the game is not just fun. It is a challenge. There are a lot of pressure that players undergo when they get to the court every game. Of course they are committed to the team to win by accumulating more score than the opponent. Apart from that, almost all players want to get up to the audience to impress.

The footwork
A strong footwork is considered one of the basic properties and a basketball player must possess to be able to be a good player.That's because everything depends on the strength of the feet when playing.
Solid footwork is needed in carrying out basic basketball tasks and techniques such as defense, bouncing, ball-handling, and much more. Basketball is a very physical game so without the solid foundation of foot strength, you could easily end up being tripped or knocked on the floor.
Because you are basically running, jumping, bending and walking during the basketball game, your footwork must be well planned and built. Furthermore, during, before and after games, you are advised to take some bending, relaxing and warming activities to condition your feet to get stronger each game.
In Basketball Footwork Tips
Because footwork is such an important aspect of playing basketball, here are some tips that will really help you achieve good grip while playing the serious game of basketball.
Achieve good body balance during the game. It is recommended that the base support for your feet wide. How do you do? Just keep all of your feet at least a shoulder apart. Bend your knees slightly and keep your head above the midpoint between the area under their feet. This position is said to allow your body to provide a good overall balance. While in the basketball court, practice with this physical equilibrium.

As a form of exercise, bend the knees, take a proper balance standing position by spreading the feet shoulder width apart.Then, step sideways. Eventually the little steps to the left or right to convert short-run. The lateral movements will help you achieve good and firm footwork sideways.
Hop with just one leg in front of the tone side of the basketball court to half court. Lowering of the foot and use the other as you hop forward to the other end of the court. This exercise focuses on the muscles of the thighs and knees together for a firmer and stronger footwork.
Regular jogging and running exercises are proven to be effective in improving the footwork of basketball players. In the morning, or when there is time, jog or walk around. It would also be advisable if you have a thread mill.
It would be impossible to play basketball as the strength of the feet has not been established. Because basketball is a very physical game, make sure your footwork is well practiced for the games.
